Cracking and shifting was stressing the concrete porch and driveway around this home and was starting to become a trip hazard. The homeowner got tired of the concrete deteriorating and hired us to repair and restore it.
Instead of re-pouring all the concrete, we lifted, stabilized, and sealed the entire porch and driveway. This eliminated trip hazards, protected it from future sinking, and waterproofed and sealed the cracking.
One of the major problems that the homeowners were having with their house was the draft from the crawl space. The area under the home was so susceptible to the weather outside that it made it difficult to keep the home heated and cooled.
The solution to this problem was a crawl space encapsulation and waterproofing system. Encapsulating the crawl space made the area a part of the home against and not just conduit for the weather to affect the home. The perimeter was waterproofed with a sump pump. The walls were insulated from the cold and heat. A CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed to keep moisture out of the air, and a SaniDry dehumidifying air system was plugged up to keep the crawl space air dry.
This area of the home had never looked so nice! We made it a proper part of the house and kept it protected from the elements outside of the home. The energy efficiency increased as well as the air quality and made the homeowners very happy with the result.
