This concrete driveway had severe cracking all around it and one of the slabs had started to separate from the others. Years of water runoff, erosion, and dirt settling was the culprit. Overtime these factors carved out a void beneath the concrete slabs and the resulting damaged rendered the driveway impractical to use and increased the risk of future issues with the other slabs in the driveway.

After scheduling an appointment, receiving an estimate, and accepting the contract our two-man crew, Matt and Nick, went to get the job done.

They assessed the damage and strategically drilled holes that allowed them to lift the appropriate slabs and fill the left-over void with PolyLyft. This gave the concrete a strong foundation to sit on and is resistant to future erosion. After the slabs are lifted and leveled out, they patched up the holes with concrete and sealed remaining cracks with NexusPro. This reduces further cracking and helps to waterproof the newly leveled driveway.

Matt and Nick spent a full day on this job leveling every slab and filling every crack. Once the job had completed the Homeowner was very happy to be able to use her front drive again and to have added many more years to the life of the driveway.

Like a lot of crawl spaces this one was covered in black plastic. The protection provided by this covering is pretty good when first installed however it provides more of a short-term solution. The homeowner started to recognize this as their crawl space started to experience rises in humidity.

Now humid and wet the water vapor in the crawl space air created a must that was getting into the home’s common areas. To prevent this from happening, and worsening the health of the home, the homeowners contracted us to install our patented CleanSpace vapor barrier. This product is designed for crawl space encapsulation and is thick enough to not rip and can be sealed running up walls. Since block walls are porous and hold water well it is necessary to have some sort of barrier running up it.

After we finished installing the vapor barrier the crawl space looked much better. Visually, the space is much more appealing and usable, but it also is protected against water vapor like never before. By keeping the moisture out of the air, it is much easier to start to control the humidity inside the crawl space. The homeowners were very happy with the upgraded crawl space and look forward to the increased utility it offers their home.

The basement of this home had issues staying dry. The block walls were holding a lot of water from the rain and had started to chip the paint and mold the corner. In addition to this, the basement was open to the home’s crawl space. The crawl space air was getting wet and bringing high levels of humidity into the home through the basement.

We went to inspect the home and found that the basement walls were exposed to water through an exterior entrance as well as from rising water levels in the ground. This, in combination with an attached and unprotected crawl space, meant that the storage area in the basement was at much risk for water damage.

We proposed our interior waterproofing solution for the block walls, a dehumidifier air system for the basement, and a CleanSpace vapor barrier for the attached crawl space. This mix of products will keep the basement dry by collecting water as, and before, water enters the block wall and by keeping the humidity levels down using our patented SaniDry dehumidifier and CleanSpace vapor barrier.

After the install the homeowner was happy with the result, as it was a relatively minor change to the inside of the basement and a fix to a problem that had been festering for years. Permanent water damage inside a finished and usable basement is no small thing, and we were happy we could help protect another home.

Two very common problems started to afflict this basement in Mocksville. Wall cracks from increased pressure on the outside of the wall and water seepage from the ground water was putting this basement at the risk of wall collapse and it was creating a humid and musty air quality.

The tricky part of solving two problems at once is that you need to make sure the two different solutions can work in tandem. Thankfully for the home and homeowner’s, we provide these kinds of products. CarbonArmor strips were stuck to the back wall to stabilize them and keep them from bowing in any further and then ran a WaterGuard drain into a sump pump with CleanSpace vapor barrier on the wall to waterproof the basement and protect it from high levels of humidity.

After the job was finished, the homeowners were very happy with the results. We fixed the root of the problems concerning the wall bowing and the water seepage, and we were able to protect the air from humidity and make the area look nice.

Erosion and water seepage had worn away the dirt under this porch. The most effected area of the porch at this point were the front steps. The void left underneath had allowed the brick steps to sink and shift. This created trip hazards, rendered the steps much less effective, and looked bad. So, we were hired to first stabilize and then attempt to lift and restore the steps.

We injected our PolyLevel foam under the porch steps and found it was easy to lift. The poly hardened and stabilized and restored the brick steps. This process involves drilling holes in the concrete or brick to get underneath where the void was created. Then, the poly seeps in as a liquid and hardens into an extremely durable foam. After the work, the homeowners were happy with the results. The brick porch steps went from problematic to a completely restored and functional part of the front porch.

The basement walls had started to crack and bow inward. This was largely due to the expanding and contracting that the water in the dirt around the walls would do. Once the water started to leak inside, the basement had a whole new set of problems.

We were called to inspect the basement and found that it needed structural support and waterproofing. Doing this would stabilize the wall and keep it from collapsing and keep the water out of the home. So, we installed PowerBraces against the block wall, WaterGuard under the floor, and a TripleSafe sump pump in the corner. These installations completely waterproofed this basement and is holding the wall from further bowing.

The homeowners were very happy to have these issues solved. The basement was quickly becoming an unhealthy and problematic part of the home, and we fixed those pressing problems.

Water used to flood into this crawl space and massively harm the health of the home above. These leakages would create the perfect environment for mold growth, raise humidity, and generate a musty smell that would circulate into the rest of the home.
