Water intrusion and basement leaks in this basement caused the block walls to crack and bow inward. The growing moisture problems needed to be addressed, and so the homeowner hired us to solve these problems.
We inspected the basement and proposed our wall support and interior waterproofing systems. The homeowners accepted this proposal. We then installed WaterGuard around the perimeter that ran into our TripleSafe sump pump. This waterproofed the basement and helped keep the unwanted moisture out of the home. Even though the water was now unable to plague the home, the walls were still cracked and bowed. So, we installed adjustable steel supports, called PowerBraces, to stabilize the wall and assist in pushing it back into place.
Once we finished the job and cleaned up, the homeowners were very happy. Their basement had been practically ruined by water seepage, but now it is protected from moisture and able to function properly.
