Intruding water would slowly leak up from the ground and through the floor of this basement. The humidity was high and the risk of ruining the unfinished areas were also high. So, we waterproofed the perimeter and installed a dehumidifying air system to protect the home.

The NC crawl space code only requires that a layer of plastic be laid along the ground of the crawl space. However, these barriers quickly tear and move and leave the crawl space exposed to moisture. Knowing this, the owner of this home had us install our patented CleanSpace vapor barrier that is sealed around the entire crawl space and keeps moisture out long term.

Encapsulating this crawl space with a vapor barrier, waterproofing, and a dehumidifier was a major transformation. Before the homeowner decided to make these changes to the home the crawl space was musty and showing signs of mold as well facilitating an environment comfortable for creatures like mice and snakes.
Since most of the air you breath inside your home comes from the crawl space, or basement, and the air quality in this crawl space was inadequate this homeowner contracted us to do the work using our patented products for this purpose.
We were able to help this home by providing it with EZ Flow and a sump pump(waterproofing), CleanSpace(vapor barrier), and by closing off the venting and adding a dehumidifier. The air quality within this crawl space has improved and become much more consistent throughout seasonal changes.
The garage-basement of this home in Blowing Rock had been previously waterproofed but needed a better drainage system. The location and installation of a drain is critically important to a waterproofing system. When water is pumped out of a drainpipe near the base of the home it can make its way back into the basement, garage, or crawl space causing even more damage and possibly overloading the system. This basement was not finished without a proper drainage system.
We installed our waterproofing system and plumbed this French drain out. We connected it to the sump through the wall and ran the pipe through a drench. We excavated and installed the pipe with gravel around it, and then filled the trench back in without disturbing much soil around the base of the home. This allows the water to flow downhill away from the home and not shift the foundation.
After completion the homeowners were very happy to have a fully functional waterproofing system. One that not just carries away the water but is intentionally designed to work with the home to protect it from other outside factors.
This home in Boone had a few issues with water seepage. Rain run off can be a constant problem for houses build on hills, and this one was no exception. The intruding water made the basement space wet and unusable as well as humid and at risk for mold growth. So, we came to help alleviate the problems.
We installed our interior waterproofing system using WaterGuard drainage and a TripleSafe sump pump which can pump out water before it gets into the basement through the day and night. After that, we installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier to some of the exposed block walls that had high moisture ratings and set up a Sedona air system. Doing this made it much more difficult for water vapor to affect the air inside the basement.
When the systems were installed the homeowners were happy. The space in the basement that used to be wet after heavy rains is now staying dry and the air is staying clear.
The basement in this home had started to experience water leakage. This was causing issues with humidity, mold, and rot. However, the most complicated issue was the fact that the walls were finished in drywall. So, the intruding water was getting in behind the wall as well as coming in through the floor. We were hired to install our interior waterproofing system to keep the water out of the home.
To begin the installation, we had to cut out some of the finished wall. This was to have access directly to the back wall and footer of the basement where we can install our WaterGuard drainage system. We also were able to apply CleanSpace vapor barrier up some of the back-block wall to help keep moisture out. After we did this, it was easy to dig a trench and install our system running into our TripleSafe sump pump.
Once we finished and cleaned up, the homeowner was very happy with the result. With minimal wall removal we were able to completely and cleanly install our waterproofing system that will stop the water damage that was happening behind the finished wall.
The homeowner of this property in Boone, NC is the owner of many different homes. He realized the importance of keeping these rent homes healthy and protected with the most up to date technology in home improvement. The exposed crawl space was a problem and was letting water control the health of the crawl space.
So, we did a full encapsulation in CleanSpace vapor barrier. Our patented barrier does not rip and is sealed tightly around everything in the crawl space. Doing this makes the porous surfaces unable to attribute absorbed water to the crawl space air.
When we were finished, this home was sealed off and ready to be lived in. The negative affects of humid and nasty crawl spaces can make major impacts on the health of a homes air which we strongly hedged against with this encapsulation.
This partially finished basement was suffering from water seepage. Among houses in the mountains, this is no surprise as intense run off and melted snow can increase the likelihood of flooding basements. The homeowner knew that to finish the basement, keep the home healthy, and utilize the basement effectively she needed to have it properly waterproofed.
So, we inspected the home and create a solution with our patented products to remedy the issues. This system was our WaterGuard drainage and TripleSafe sump pump system. These products collect water before it gets into the basement and pumps it safely outside away from the base of the home.
With our system in place, the homeowner can finish their basement and not worry about the nasty effects of flooding and water seepage. She was happy with our work when we finished and with the fact that we were able to maneuver around her AC unit.
As is the story with many aging homes, the crawl space protection put in when the home was built quickly failed. The think black plastic pulled back and exposed the ground making it very easy for water vapor to get in the air. This also causes the insulation to get wet and break down.
We inspected this crawl space and found that our CleanSpace vapor barrier along side a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier would protect the crawl space like it has ever been before. So, we began the process by clearing out the existing debris and leveling the area. After this, installation went quickly as we sealed the entire crawl in CleanSpace. On top of the vapor barrier, we installed a dehumidifying air system to keep the air clean and dry all the time.
The homeowners were very happy with the improvement to their home, and we were proud to have done this work and protect this home from future moisture problems.
The basement in this building was being used as a storage area. Unfortunately, water seepage was soaking the back wall and occasionally would ruin items left there. This was problematic for the owner and so he started to look for a solution. Eventually, he found us, and we were able to craft a solution specific to this situation.
We installed WaterGuard drainage along the base of the leaking walls that would catch water before it gets inside the basement and ran it into a sump pump. However, this building was situated in the city of Boone and had limited options for discharge without pumping it somewhere that would cause more damage. So, we ran our discharge line from the sump pump around the back to an ally with a grate drain. Doing this meant that all the water our system collects will be properly displaced into the street drainage and unable to harm the buildings nearby.
After we finished the job, the owner was very happy to have a complete solution installed that protected the inside and outside of the building.
This basement in Boone had been experiencing water seepage for a long time. The homeowners had another company install a generic sump pump system, but it has its limitations. They found that moisture was still able to cause problems such as high humidity and rot. To fully waterproof their basement that they are trying to finish, the homeowners hired us to install our patented WaterGuard and TripleSafe sump pump system.
These products have been tested and proven over 30 years and many states. So, we dug up the old system and continued our waterproofing system throughout the moisture infested area. We installed the WaterGuard under the floor to collect water from all points of entry and ran it into our TripleSafe sump pump. Our sump pump is equipped with overflow alarms and runs 24/7 with a battery backup.
Once the discharge line was running to a safe place outside the home, the job was finished. We cleaned up the basement and left the homeowners happy with the addition to their home. Our system will keep moisture from negatively effecting the basement so they can finish it with peace of mind.
This crawl space was not protected from outside moisture and was poorly insulated. It needed to be revamped. The homeowners knew this and hired us to protect their crawl space with our patented products and solutions.
We installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier throughout the entire crawl space. We wrapped the piers and the walls all the way up to keep wicked water out of the air. Our vapor barrier is extremely durable and prevent moisture from easily getting into the crawl space air that results in high humidity or mold growth.
The homeowners used this part of their home to store items like tools and fertilizer. These are things that should not get wet, so the homeowners were very happy with the results of their new vapor barrier which now keeps their crawl space dry.
Leaking water started to infiltrate the basement walls of this home. This leakage would put stress on the foundation and leak into the basement which could ruin items. The homeowner knew he needed to solve this problem, so he hired us.
We inspected the problem and installed our perimeter drainage system. Using a SmartSump sump pump, we funneled intruding water outside of the home and connected the discharge line to an existing septic tank line. This helped create more efficiency for the home and was a quick and easy way to dispel the water seepage.
After the entire system was installed, the homeowners were very happy with the result. We were able to route all water seepage into our system and away from the home without a hitch.
Intruding water was chipping paint, raising the humidity, and making it difficult to finish the basement area of the home. The homeowner wanted to have peace of mind about this problem and hired us to solve the problem permanently.
We installed our vapor barrier along the wall and our interior drainage system to pump water outside before it can fester inside the basement. The discharge line was equipped with ice guard and drained safely away from the home.
After the job was installed, the basement was incredibly protected from unwanted water seepage.
The crawl space under this home was musty and damp. Water vapor was a major factor affecting the health of this home and crawl space.
We inspected the home and found multiple ways we could help. By encapsulating this crawl space entirely, it keeps the area free of water vapor. Blocking off the exposed the ground and outside air with CleanSpace and SilverGlo insulated the crawl space air keeps the moisture out. Then, the SaniDry dehumidifier manages the air quality and moisture level inside. We also installed a waterproofing drainage system around the perimeter to capture intruding water.
This encapsulation sets the home up to be much safer and healthier by keeping water and moisture outside of the home.
Ground water was making its way into the basement and attached crawl space under this home. This made it hard to store items and keep the air dry.
The homeowners had us inspect the water intrusion problem. We suggested our patented waterproofing design that captures water as it comes it and pushes it out of a sump pump before affecting the interior.
After accepting this proposal, we installed the products and the homeowners have been thrilled at their dry basement.
This mountain home in Zionville had been completely overtaken by water seepage and moisture issues. The floors were sagging, and mold growth was rampant. The homeowners new a solution was needed to keep the home livable, so they hired us to assess the situation.
We came up with a foolproof design to encapsulate and stabilize the home. EZflow waterproofing around the perimeter, SilverGlow wall insulation, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and SmartJacks along the trusses all work together to stabilize and seal shut this crawl space.
This flooding basement was holding water inside the walls and leaking into the home. Water damage on the foundation walls made this obvious. We inspected the walls and found high moisture readings inside the block wall as well as observable evidence of water flooding.
To solve this problem, we installed our perimeter drainage system to gather unwanted water seepage before it sits inside the home and pumps it outside. The homeowners were thrilled with our solution and were so happy to have a dry and clean basement.
Moisture leakage from the ground and block walls were getting into this home’s crawl space. The encroaching water was raising the humidity and ruining the insulation under the home.
We cleared out all the debris and ripped insulation and started to encapsulate the crawl space. By sealing off the ground, walls, and piers we keep moisture in the ground and out of the air. This helps maintain a healthy level of humidity and keeps water from festering inside the crawl space.
The homeowners were very happy with the finished product and less worried about the smells and issues coming from under their home.
The crawl space under this home was slightly covered by a thin barrier, but the homeowners wanted to encapsulate it further. We recommend a full encapsulation with a more durable and sealed vapor barrier. The homeowners did not want to replace their failing vapor barrier just yet but did want to insulate and dehumidify the crawl space.
So, we installed our thermal insulation along the walls to keep the interior temperature more consistent, and then we installed a dehumidifier to keep the air quality high.
Musty smells and mold growth were starting to concern the owners of this home’s crawl space. They asked us to inspect their home and were shocked at what it looked like.
We suggested our full encapsulation system that cleans out debris and sealed the area from outside factors. This stops mold growth and improves air quality in the entire home.
Once we were finished, the homeowners were very happy with the results.
Water intrusion and moisture in the air of this crawl space started to negatively affect the home. The musty and humid air was wafting bad smells into the rest of the home above.
We minimized these effects by protecting the crawl space from the moisture intrusion. Our extremely durable vapor barrier and dehumidifying air system were installed to prevent this moisture from causing those problems.

Matt then sat down with the homeowner to educate her on what was happening in her crawl space, why it occurs, and what solutions are available at her desired budget. After a plan of action was agreed upon, Franz and his crew got to work. They began this crawl space waterproofing project by installing a TripleSafe sump pump system with IceGuard protection. This three-pump system will automatically adjust to the current pumping requirements of the crawl space. This includes a battery-powered pump that protects against flooding during a power outage. The IceGuard ensures that the pipes won't freeze during below freezing weather conditions, so the water will be safely and effectively removed during all seasons. Next, Franz and crew installed a full CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system. CleanSpace is the most durable vapor barrier on the market. It is designed to seal, cover, and protect the crawl space from any moisture that tries to seep through. Drainage matting is placed underneath the CleanSpace to prevent standing water from sitting under the crawl space. The drainage matting directs any water collected around the foundation to the sump pump. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and air purifier was added to eliminate musty odors and prevent mold growth. Lastly, to protect the soils surrounding the home and to divert water away from the home's foundation, the crew added buried downspouts with LawnScape outlets to the sump pump's discharge lines.
