The concrete outside of this property in Wilkesboro started to sink and crack because of settlement issues. This is very common in wet areas and can happen to entire foundations as well as poured slabs. The property owners wanted to protect the concrete from further sinking and stabilize it, so they hired us.
We pumped our PolyLevel foam under the concrete to fill the void and stabilize the slab. Once hardened, this foam can withstand massive amounts of pressure and wear and tear. Lastly, we sealed the cracks in NexusPro which waterproofs and seals the slab together.
After we cleaned up and patched the drilled holes, it was nearly impossible to tell we even did any work. Our customers were very happy with the results.
The concrete in this driveway was in relatively good condition, however runoff and erosion had caused a void to form underneath it. This void allowed settling and shifted the concrete slabs so that they were uneven. Cracks started to form, and the driveway started to become a hazard and a bad aesthetic. Wanting to repair his driveway without re-pouring it, the homeowner called us to fix the problem.
We pumped our PolyLevel underneath the slabs to first fill the void up and then attempted to provide lift. We were successful in leveling this slab, and then we sealed the cracks in the concrete with NexusPro that also waterproofs the cracks.
Once we finished the job, the driveway looked much better and posed no threat. The homeowner was very happy with be able to level the concrete and seal the cracks without having to repour the entire driveway.
