Our team began tackling this project by installing a WaterGuard drainage system along the perimeter of the area. Moisture was rotting and ruining the crawl space under this home. The homeowners knew this would cause health problems moving forward and hired us to solve the problem permanently.

We cleaned out the crawl space and sealed it shut with our durable vapor barrier. The sealed crawl space keeps moisture out of the air.

Nasty water seepage was causing water damage and a musty air condition. The homeowners were tried of having to deal with these issues and hired us to solve them before it got worse.

We installed our patented sump pump in the corner and interior waterproofing around the perimeter of the basement. This system collects the water seepage and then pumps it outside, away from the home.

Moisture was a big problem inside of this crawl space. The water vapor was causing the insulation to rip and fall away in clumps and was raising the humidity. These factors made the rest of the home harder to keep heated and cooled, depending on the temperature outside.

We cleared out the crawl space of all the debris and failing products. From there we encapsulated and insulated the walls of the crawl space. This tall crawl space was a great space and solid foundation underneath the home. The issue was the water seepage and moisture. Standing water was making the air musty, which was being filtered into the rest of the home. Mold was also starting to grow on the floor joists under the home’s floor.

The underground garage on this home had a crawl space attached to it and water was having a field day inside both of them. After consulting with the homeowner, we forged a solution that would keep the water from lingering inside the crawl space and out of the basement.

 We installed EZflow drainage around the perimeter of the crawl space with weep holes and gravel to capture the intruding water and funnel it into our system. From there is drained into our TripleSafe sump pump. We also had WaterGuard under the basement floor filter into the same sump basin. The leakage that this system captures is then pumped outside and away from the home.

The homeowner was thrilled with the solution we provided and happy to hear the pump working after the next rain. Now, the home’s health is in a much better position and the basement has a higher functionality.

Situated in a rural area, this home experiences runoff and ground water complete uniquely to the land around it. The area is very wet which is good for many things, but the high levels of ground water made it easy for moisture to find its way into the basement. After years of ruining storage items and having must smells waft upstairs, the homeowners decided to find a permanent solution.

We installed our interior WaterGuard waterproofing system with a sump pump, CleanSpace vapor barrier, and SaniDry Sedona dehumidifying air system. This basement has been a problem for the homeowner for quite a while, and this was not our first visit to the home. A few months back we inspected the home and proposed that the entire basement be waterproofed. Doing this would eliminate the possibility of water seepage through any side of the wall.

However, the homeowner only wanted to waterproof the walls that had water currently leaking inside. This solution worked for a time, but this made the other walls weaker and susceptible to water leakage. So, we were called back out and added onto our existing system.

We added WaterGuard to the remaining walls and ran it into the existing TripleSafe sump pump. This completed the system and left no wall vulnerable to the rising water from the ground. Heavy rains consistently led to flooding inside this basement. The owner of the home remarked about how many tools and other storage items had been ruined because of it. With water going to reach the block walls one way or another and allowing water to not just affect its humidity but also ruin items inside the basement, the homeowner was ready to look for options.

We inspected this home and found that he had a unique situation where the basement ran into a dirt crawl space. In order to be effective and save money for our customer we agreed upon a system that would waterproof the entire basement, sealing water from the dirt crawl space, and improve the humidity levels.

In order to do this, the first thing we had to do was run WaterGuard along all the concrete slab and run it into a sump pump. The second piece to consider was how to seal off the crawl space area in terms of potential water flow. To do this we ran EZflo waterproofing pipe along the base of the exposed dirt side and ran it into our WaterGuard system with drainage matting and CleanSpace vapor barrier on top of it. This was necessary to seal the system off and make the open transition act as a fourth wall. The last step was to install our basement qualified SaniDry dehumidifier. This along with the vapor barrier up the partial wall will help to keep the humidity down and the basement dry.

After the job the home’s owner, the landlord of the place, was happy with having the property much more fit for habitants. The basement now has a tested and tried system to keep water out and dry air in.
