With a wall slowly caving in, the basement of this home needed serious foundation repair. The crack that formed at the seam went down the entire wall and was large enough to fit a person’s fingers into. The eventual wall collapse that a bowing wall indicates, especially one this bad, is not an issue to casually ignore.
With a concern for his home’s foundation this homeowner hired us to support this wall. Of course, a full recovery of the bowing cannot be guaranteed however full wall support can be with the possibility of reduced bowing. This wall support process involved steel beams being anchored down underground beyond the house’s base. A trench is dug in order to do the anchoring this way and the steel beams are then cinched to the wall.
We were able to fully support this basement wall as well as gain partial leveling back into its original place. We will be following up to attempt to push the wall back further into its original place. However, the homeowner was thrilled about the improvement and that the yard, after being filled back in, looked good.
The homeowner of this basement and garage hybrid found that water was consistently making its way into the home. She has us inspect the leakage with the goal of keeping the basement dry year-round. We found that, like many garage-basement hybrids, water was getting into the block walls and coming in through its multiple doorways.
To solve the flooding issue of this basement it took a full perimeter waterproofing system with internal drains. This means that with WaterGuard running under the edge of the block walls collecting the water as it moves up and before it gets into the basement, we still needed to install drains on top near entry points. Along the bay garage door and the side door we put drains that fed into the WaterGuard perimeter system. From here the collected water can be pumped out through a sump pump downhill away from the foundation of the home.
This process is common among partial underground basements with a bay door and it works to keep water out at all points of entry. The homeowner was very happy with the job and is excited to watch how the system keeps her basement dry during the next big rain.
The process of protecting a crawl space from humidity and mold growth can vary. However, a full encapsulation is the best chance at getting the job done. This crawl space in King was obviously molding along the floor joists and causing an inefficiency in heating and cooling the home. After some option seeking, the homeowner chose us to install our patented products, so we installed the solutions.
Our first step was to isolate the crawl space air from the air outside. To do this we insulated the walls of the crawl space with SilverGlo, then we laid down our CleanSpace vapor barrier. Doing this keeps the air inside a consistent temperature and keeps moisture in the ground from getting into the air. Lastly, we put in a SaniDry air system, which is designed to dehumidify crawl spaces. This combination of products works very effectively at protecting the air inside the crawl space and gives back the home that area of the house.
The homeowners were thrilled with the job. Both in the way it looked after and, of course, the protection it provides. We were very happy as well to help and be a part of a seamless and full proof protection for a home.
The painted block wall in this basement had started to chip because of the water inside the block. Over time, the build up and evaporation of water left efflorescence in its place and made it much more difficult to paint back over. After realizing the issue was being cause by water seepage into the block walls, the homeowner wanted us to waterproof it.
We installed our patented interior waterproofing system that catches water as it, and after it, enters the block wall. This way the unwanted water never has a chance to get into the basement or sit and accumulate inside the block wall. The system then flushes the water out downhill away from the home’s foundation. This process will keep the basement dry for a very long time.
After our work was installed the homeowner was pleased with the job. Maybe in time he can re-paint the walls, but either way the space is protected from flooding and other issues that come along with consistent water seepage.
This basement we waterproofed in Pinnacle had leakage coming in from three of its four walls. The water leakage was getting under the floor and ruining the tiles as well as ruining the block wall paint, and it made the basement uncomfortably humid. We inspected these issues and proposed a full perimeter waterproofing, which is standard for maximum protection, but we decided on a 3-wall waterproofing with the homeowner to satisfy what he was looking for.
We installed our WaterGuard waterproofing system and ran it into a TripleSafe sump pump. This system collects water before it gets into the home from the floor and walls to dispel it outside of the home. One unique feature of this job was how we ran the perimeter waterproofing through an interior wall. To make the system full proof and work properly the entire back wall, that was exposed to the elements outside, needed to be waterproofed. So, were able to make a patchable hole in the interior wall that was budding into the foundation wall allowing us to run our system along the entire back wall.
With the job complete, the homeowners were happy. We had installed a system that repaired the water intrusion issue and set the home up for success in the future. Not every wall was as protected as we would have liked because of some limiting factors specific to the homeowner, but we did a great job protecting what we could with our WaterGuard, TripleSafe, and CleanSpace mix of products.
When the sunroom was added onto the side of this home, the main support beams for the room were run down onto the concrete patio below it. This patio had already experienced a lot of water runoff and subsequent erosion around the slab. So, when the pressure of the sunroom was added, it was only a matter of time before the pressure started to crack the already shifting slab.
This cracking started to occur, and the homeowners contracted us for the solution. We pumped PolyLevel foam underneath the slab to fill any void that had formed due to erosion and provide support from sinking. After that, we sealed the cracks with NexusPro to bind the slab together and waterproof the cracks.
When the job was done, the homeowners were very happy. The pressure from the sunroom above is no longer problematic for the patio supporting it, and the sunroom will be safe sitting on the concrete slab.
Water intrusion was starting to get into this garage and cause problems. Like most people, this homeowner used the area to store items, and like most items water damages them. So, he contracted us to permanently solve this problem.
We installed WaterGuard around the perimeter of the garage to collect water before it gets into the walls and above the floor and send it into our sump pump. Our patended sump pumps are designed to handle the heaviest of rains and can run 24/7. From there a discharge line is installed and buried under the ground.
When the job was finished, the homeowner was happy that he could store items in his garage without worrying about them being ruined.
Rainwater was easily finding its way to the base of this home and into the basement’s block walls. This water was being absorbed by the wall and festering behind the basement’s finished walls and carpet flooring. When the homeowner’s started to notice the damp carpet and wet storage items, they knew they needed a solution to keep the basement in a healthy condition.
We installed our waterproofing system around the perimeter of the basement and our SaniDry Sadona dehumidifier. Having this under the floor and against the block wall will keep moisture from sitting behind the finished basement and ruining the carpet and walls. The dehumidifier also helps keep the basement extremely dry and a friendly environment.
The homeowners were thrilled with the work and happy to be able to finish their basement without worry of flooding.
The standing water in this yard and poor drainage started to become a more consistent issue. We inspected the way water flowed around the home and came up with a buried downspout solution.
We dug trenches along the entire yard and piped the downspouts downhill. The end of the new downspouts were equipped with a disguised drain head that seamlessly allows water to flow out.
The homeowner was thrilled with the new drainage and not having to worry about intense yard flooding.
The crawl space under this home had been pieced together by many materials and was no bulwark to moisture. Water intrusion began to mold and flood the area under the home and caused musty smells to waft upward into the home.
The homeowners had us inspect and ultimately protect this crawl space. All the water seepage was dealt with by our sump pump drainage system and our CleanSpace vapor barrier. This kept the moisture out of the crawl space. We also installed SmartJacks to stabilize the floor with the most stable jack in foundation support.
The newly encapsulated crawl space looked great and protected the home immensely, and the homeowners loved it.
The nasty crawl space and moist basement under this home was raising the humidity, causing mold growth, and created unusable space. The homeowners were tired of dealing with these issues and hired us to inspect and propose a solution.
We designed a system to clean and protect the entire underground area from the moisture intrusion. We waterproofed the basement and sealed off the crawl space. All the unwanted water is captured and pumped outside of the home.
The crawl space under this home was being used as storage and a workspace. Once the moisture from the ground started to seep into the area and cause mold and humidity issues, the homeowner started looking for solutions.
We completely encapsulated and sealed off the crawl space from outside moisture and dehumidified the air. Doing this allowed the crawl space to be free of a water and mold friendly atmosphere.
There was high humidity and sinking floors under this home in King, NC. The homeowners wanted us to fix these problems and prevent them from causing future harm.
After a thorough inspection, we proposed installed SmartJacks and our Sanidry Sedona dehumidifier to keep the floors from sagging and the air purified and dried.
The homeowners were thrilled with these products and the health and stabilization benefits it provided to the home.
Water vapor and moisture was easily getting into the crawl space under this home. The thin plastic barrier quickly became useless and the health of the home suffering because of it.
We cleared out the failing solutions and encapsulated the entire crawl space to seal it from all moisture entry. Our durable vapor barrier is sealed around all surfaces that moisture could get in from. This, along with the thermal insulation along the walls, keeps the crawl space air from being affecting by any outside factors.
When we finished with the job, the home was in far better health and the homeowners were very happy with it.
Massive amounts of water leakage started to flood this basement and left behind damages. The homeowners wanted to waterproof this part of their home and be able to re-use the space.
Our interior water drainage system collects water at all three points of entry and pumps it away from the home before it becomes an issue.
After the installation, the homeowners were very happy with the results and were able to use their basement safely once again.
Unprotected and moist, this crawl space started to experience a lot of negative effects. Mold growth and must smells wafting through the home were just a few of them. The homeowners wanted to get rid of these issues and protected their home, so they hired us.
We thoroughly inspected and proposed a solution to fix the issues permanently. Our encapsulation system keeps moisture out of the crawl space and dehumidifies and purifies the air to keep it clean and dry.
The new crawl space looked amazing, and the homeowners were thrilled with the results.
