Identifying the Bowing Basement Wall
The project begins with the home's biggest structural concern a bowing basement wall showing signs of movement from outside soil pressure. Left unaddressed, bowing walls can continue to worsen over time, making foundation reinforcement and basement waterproofing essential to protect the home's stability and prevent future damage.
Installing the CleanSpace Wall System
With the wall reinforcement complete, our team installed the CleanSpace wall system to help manage basement moisture. This durable wall liner creates a clean, bright appearance while directing any water that enters through the foundation into the waterproofing system below, helping keep the basement dry and protected year-round.
Installing the TripleSafe Sump Pump System
To complete the waterproofing system, our team installed a TripleSafe sump pump with a battery backup for dependable protection during heavy rain and power outages. This high-performance system collects water from the perimeter drainage system and pumps it safely away from the home, helping keep the basement dry and protected year-round.
Reinforcing the Bowing Wall with PowerBrace Supports
To permanently stabilize the bowing foundation wall, our team installed PowerBrace steel support beams. These heavy-duty galvanized beams are secured to the floor and framing above to help stop further inward movement. Combined with the CleanSpace wall system, this solution strengthens the foundation while protecting the basement from ongoing moisture intrusion.
Installing the Exterior Discharge Line
The final step is making sure water stays away from the foundation. Our team installed the exterior discharge line to carry water from the TripleSafe sump pump safely away from the home, helping prevent water from flowing back toward the basement. This finishing touch completes the waterproofing system and provides long-term protection against future water intrusion.
