To handle water collected by the new drainage system, our crew installed a sump pump system with a battery backup. The sump pump removes water from the basement and directs it safely away from the home, while the backup provides added protection if the power goes out during a storm.

With the water management system in place, our crew added a high-performance dehumidifier to help control excess humidity in the basement. Along with the basement's moisture issues, the foundation walls showed signs of structural movement and needed additional support. Our team installed CarbonArmor straps along the block wall to reinforce and stabilize it, helping prevent further inward movement and providing a long-term solution for the home's foundation.
Directing Water Safely Away from the Home
To complete the waterproofing system, our crew installed discharge lines to carry water collected by the sump pump safely away from the foundation. This final step helps prevent the pumped water from collecting near the home and finding its way back into the basement, giving the homeowner a complete water-management solution.
