In Cary, NC, this home was experiencing foundation settlement, which can lead to structural instability if left unaddressed. The “before” image shows our crew excavating along the foundation and installing helical piers specialized screw-like supports designed to anchor deep into stable soil and provide lasting support for the home. These piers effectively transfer the weight of the structure to load-bearing strata, halting further movement and restoring stability. Once the piers were installed and the foundation was secured, the excavated area was backfilled, graded, and covered with straw to promote new grass growth. The “after” image highlights the restored yard, ensuring both the structural integrity and curb appeal of the property.
This Cary, NC home had a crawl space with clear warning signs of trouble exposed dirt floors, high humidity, and unprotected ductwork that left the home vulnerable to mold, odors, and costly energy loss. These conditions are common in untreated crawl spaces and can lead to unhealthy air and structural damage if left unresolved.
Our team provided a long-term solution with professional crawl space encapsulation. We installed a durable vapor barrier, sealed the walls, and added a state-of-the-art sump pump system with battery backup to keep water out year-round. The result is a clean, dry, and energy-efficient crawl space that protects the home’s foundation, improves indoor air quality, and provides peace of mind for the homeowner.
This formerly wet and humid crawl space got a brighter, drier, and healthier environment with our CleanSpace encapsulation system. Paired with a few other of our top-quality patented products like the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and indestructible EverLast door - moisture nor humidity stand a chance against this crawl space now!
Foundation piers were installed to stabilize this tilting chimney. The piers were installed around the base of the chimney, attaching the brackets to the footing. Once attached, lift is achieved to secure the chimney back into position. This effectively prevents further leaning and stabilizes the structure.
To keep drafts out, maintain healthy temperatures, and stop water from leaking through the walls, we installed our SilverGlo Thermal Insulation panels throughout the walls in this crawl space.
