This beautiful, finished basement had a silent killer. Water leakage behind the finished wall was raising the humidity, causing mold growth, and occasionally leaking into the basement area. To save this room we had to perform a little demo to waterproof the room properly, but now the basement can be finished without concern for water damage.

Moist and flood prone, this basement needed a solution fast. We tore out the failing insulation and plastic and installed our patented waterproofing system along with our durable vapor barrier and wall insulation.

The company installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier and CleanSpace vapor barrier system. This solution helped to solve the problem by creating a dry environment that prevented mold and rot.

Carolina Basement Systems installed a CleanSpace vapor barrier system and a SaniDry Basement Dehumidifier. The CleanSpace vapor barrier system will help to keep the crawl space dry, and the SaniDry Basement Dehumidifier will help to remove any moisture that does build up.

This crawl space got brought up to current natural energy code with our SilverGlo crawl space wall insulation system. This graphite-impregnated formula features a built-in radiant heat barrier and closed-cell insulation that will not soak up any moisture. Once installed, this superior insulation also provides a vapor barrier to the crawl space walls, holding back moisture and humidity.
