Moisture Concerns in the Crawl Space
Moisture from the exposed ground can create damp conditions throughout a crawl space. To help control ground moisture, the team began preparing the area for a vapor barrier, which will separate the crawl space from the earth below and help create a drier environment.
Installing Perimeter Drainage
To address water entering the crawl space, our team installed SmartPipe perimeter drainage in a trench along the crawl space. The system is designed to collect groundwater and direct it toward the sump pump, helping prevent water from collecting beneath the home.
TripleSafe Sump Pump for Reliable Water Removal
To keep water from collecting in the crawl space, our team installed a TripleSafe Sump Pump System. The system provides multiple levels of pumping protection, including battery backup, to help keep the crawl space dry even during heavy rainfall or a power outage.
Sealing Out Ground Moisture
To help control moisture rising from the exposed ground, our team installed a vapor barrier across the crawl space floor. The barrier separates the home from the damp soil below, helping create a cleaner, drier crawl space.
