Crawl Space Before Repair
Before repairs began, the crawl space had an exposed dirt floor, leaving the area vulnerable to ground moisture and elevated humidity. This was the starting point before the new drainage, moisture-control, and encapsulation systems were installed.
StarPipe Drainage Connected to TripleSafe Sump Pump
The StarPipe drainage system was installed along the crawl space perimeter and connected directly to the TripleSafe sump pump. This allows collected groundwater to be directed to the sump system, where it can be safely pumped away from the home.
Drainage Matting and SmartJack Support Installed
Drainage matting was installed across the crawl space floor to help direct water toward the drainage system. A SmartJack support was also installed beneath the floor system to provide additional structural support for the home above.
Vapor Barrier and SaniDry Sedona Installed
A durable vapor barrier was installed throughout the crawl space to seal the ground and help prevent moisture from entering the space. A SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was also added to control humidity and help keep the crawl space dry and healthy.
Sump Pump Discharge Line Installation
The sump pump discharge line was routed away from the crawl space and home, creating a pathway for collected water to be carried safely away from the foundation.
