A crawl space with inadequate support can lead to sagging floors like this crawl space, which compromise the structural integrity of a building. To address this issue, we installed our SmartJack system. The SmartJack system consists of steel support posts that are adjustable and designed to stabilize and level the floors. These posts are installed in the crawl space and provide additional support to the floor joists, preventing further sagging and restoring the structural stability of the building.

This Henderson, NC home was showing signs of foundation settlement, visible through gaps beneath the bay window and uneven exterior brickwork. Our team installed helical piers to permanently stabilize and lift the affected section of the foundation. These steel piers are advanced structural supports that transfer the home’s weight to stable soil layers deep below the surface, preventing further sinking or movement. After installation, the area was backfilled and leveled, restoring both the home’s appearance and structural integrity for long-term protection.

This crawl space's floor joists had weakened and shifted overtime, causing the floors above to sink. We permanently stabilized the foundation by installing SmartJacks with steel supplemental beams throughout the crawl space. These fully-adjustable steel piers will stop settlement in its tracks and may even lift the floors above back to their original position.
