This home in Cary, NC had an exposed crawl space that allowed moisture, cold air, and humidity to impact the home’s comfort and energy efficiency. To create a healthier and more controlled environment, our team completed a full crawl space encapsulation using a durable vapor barrier paired with SilverGlo wall insulation.

The SilverGlo insulation panels were installed along the crawl space walls to help reflect heat back into the home, improve energy efficiency, and protect against moisture intrusion. A reinforced vapor barrier was then laid across the crawl space floor, sealing the ground and preventing moisture from entering the space.

Together, these upgrades help reduce humidity, improve indoor air quality, and create a cleaner, more energy-efficient crawl space that supports the long-term health of the home.

This formerly wet and humid crawl space got a brighter, drier, and healthier environment with our CleanSpace encapsulation system. Foundation piers were installed to stabilize this tilting chimney. The piers were installed around the base of the chimney, attaching the brackets to the footing. Once attached, lift is achieved to secure the chimney back into position. This effectively prevents further leaning and stabilizes the structure. 

To keep drafts out, maintain healthy temperatures, and stop water from leaking through the walls, we installed our SilverGlo Thermal Insulation panels throughout the walls in this crawl space. 

We installed our CleanSpace Drainage Matting in this customer's crawl space to prevent water buildup and improve air quality by keeping moisture out. The CleanSpace Drainage Matting is designed to create a barrier that directs water away from the crawl space, preventing moisture buildup and potential damage. It also helps improve air quality by reducing humidity and preventing mold growth.
