Ripped plastic, water damage, and falling insulation were throughout this crawl space. The issues posed by these factors often result with inconsistent home temperatures, breathing or health issues, and even strange smells. We cleaned it out completely and installed our own patented products designed to protect a crawl space and keep the air quality as high as possible.
Throughout this crawl space there was unused square footage of the home filled with ripped plastic, dirt, and moisture. We installed a vapor barrier across the entire crawl space, waterproofed it using EzFlow and a sump pump, and installed a dehumidifier. These products allow the area to be usable, it protects the home from flooding, mold, and improves the air quality overall.
This unprotected dirt crawl space was primed for mold growth. The moisture in the air and debris on the ground deteriorated the air quality to the point that the homeowner was having breathing difficulties. We cleaned it out, added a vapor barrier and dehumidifier that improves the air quality.
Full of garbage, torn plastic, and experiencing early signs of water seepage this crawl space facilitated a less than desirable atmosphere. For a home, the crawl space is very important to keep dry and maintain good air quality that flows through the rest of the house. We were able to remove the debris and protect this home by waterproofing it, installing a vapor barrier, and a dehumidifier.
Experiencing moisture through condensation and water vapor is a major issue within dirt crawl spaces. This crawl space also was amassing debris that attracts rodents and other creatures. We cleaned it out and applied a vapor barrier, greatly improving its state.
