Crawl Space Encapsulation & Sedona Dehumidifier Installation - Mount Airy, NC

This Mount Airy, NC home was facing several crawl space moisture issues before our team arrived. The “before” photo shows a thin, loose plastic barrier that wasn’t sealed or protecting the home from ground moisture. Insulation was falling from the floor joists, wiring and duct lines were exposed to high humidity, and the crawl space had no system in place to control moisture levels. These conditions can lead to mold growth, wood rot, musty odors, and poor indoor air quality throughout the home.

To correct these problems, our team installed a complete CleanSpace encapsulation system followed by a Sedona dehumidifier to actively control humidity year-round. The new vapor barrier is tightly sealed around piers, walls, and plumbing lines, creating a clean and protected environment under the home. With the addition of the Sedona, the crawl space now maintains healthy humidity levels, helping prevent mold, protecting the home’s structure, and improving energy efficiency and indoor comfort.
