A homeowner in Mocksville, NC noticed their master bedroom floor part of a home addition beginning to sink and feel bouncy. After a plumber flagged structural concerns in the crawl space, our team performed a full inspection and identified failing, undersized support posts that were no longer providing proper stabilization.
In this dirt-floor crawl space, we replaced the old, ineffective supports with our high-capacity SmartJack system. These adjustable steel supports were installed on a solid base to permanently stabilize the sagging floor above. By addressing the weakened areas in the middle and rear of the home, we restored structural integrity and eliminated the floor bounce in the master bedroom.
Now, the home is properly supported with a long-term solution designed to prevent further settlement and provide peace of mind.
