The thin plastic inside this crawl space let moisture into the air easily. We installed our durable and watertight vapor barrier and thermal insulation to keep moisture out and improve the air quality of the crawl space.

The Triplesafe Sump Pump with UltraSump 4 will keep this crawl space dry by using three pumps: one for everyday use, a backup for heavy water flow, and a battery-powered one for power outages. The UltraSump 4 controller switches between pumps will automatically alert the homeowner if there's an issue, ensuring the crawl space stays dry no matter what. 

After installation, new adjustable steel support jacks were added beneath the main beam to provide permanent, reinforced support. These support jacks help stabilize the floor system, reduce bounce, and restore proper structural integrity creating a safer and more stable home in Durham, NC.
