This homeowner's foundation wall in their garage was cracked and tilting. To permanently stabilize the wall, we installed our PowerBrace System. This system uses steel I-beams anchored to the floor and floor joists to counteract the pressure causing the tilt, preventing further movement and restoring structural integrity.
Using foundation piers, our team successfully stabilized this customers foundation that fell victim to a settlement.
Before installing the PowerBrace Wall System, the customer's foundation wall was bowing inward, posing a risk to the structural integrity of their home. After the installation, the wall is now stabilized and gradually being straightened, ensuring long-term protection and peace of mind.
After falling victim to soil settlement, our team successfully stabilized this retaining wall using our Helical Pier System. The system involves driving steel shafts with helical plates into the ground until they reach stable soil layers. These piers transfer the load of the structure from weak soil to stronger, more stable soil or bedrock. This process not only stabilizes the structure but also prevents further settlement.
The soil around the foundation became so saturated with water that the hydrostatic pressure built up against the wall caused it to crack and bow. To permanently stabilize the wall and prevent further bowing and cracking, we installed our GeoLock Anchor System. Heavy-duty steel earth anchors are buried in stable soil away from the foundation wall, and connected to steel wall plates on the inside of the wall by galvanized rods.
