In Mayodan, NC, we were called to a split-level home built in the early 1960s, where the homeowner was preparing to sell and had concerns about the aging foundation and a driveway over 40 years old. During our inspection, we identified signs of foundation settlement cracking and separation in the brickwork beneath the porch caused by shifting and unstable soil over time. To address these structural issues and provide long-term stability, we installed helical piers, which are precision-engineered steel supports that are screwed deep into stable, load-bearing soil. These piers transfer the weight of the structure away from compromised ground, effectively halting further movement and restoring support to the foundation. This solution not only secures the home structurally but also enhances its resale value, offering confidence and peace of mind to both the current owner and potential buyers.
This Mayodan, NC basement was showing clear signs of water intrusion, including damp concrete floors, staining along the walls, and visible moisture buildup. Over time, these conditions can lead to musty odors, mold growth, and potential structural damage if left untreated.
To permanently address the issue, our team installed a professional interior drainage system paired with a high-performance sump pump. The drain system is designed to capture groundwater at the perimeter before it reaches the basement floor, directing it safely to the sump pump. The sump pump then efficiently removes the collected water away from the home.
This solution creates a dry, protected basement environment, helping prevent future water damage, improve air quality, and provide long-term peace of mind for the homeowner.
Gradual water seepage was ruining this basement. We installed our patented waterproofing system around the perimeter and equipped it with a TripleSafe sump pump to expel the unwanted water.
This troubled basement had water getting inside every time it rained via the gap between the basement wall and floor. We solved this problem by installing a WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system to capture and redirect water at its very entry point and a CleanSpace wall system to cover and protect the space from humidity and water vapors. Water no longer stands a chance against this basement!
To stabilize this customers bowed and cracked wall, we installed our GeoLock Channel System. GeoLock Channel Anchors work by stabilizing and straightening bowing or cracked walls. They are installed with anchors placed in the soil outside the foundation wall and connected to steel channels inside the basement. This system counteracts the pressure exerted on the wall, preventing further movement and potentially straightening the wall over time.
