This Burlington, NC home was experiencing excessive crawl space moisture, musty odors, and conditions that can lead to mold growth and wood deterioration. To address these issues, our team installed a full crawl space encapsulation paired with a sump pump system. The encapsulation seals out ground moisture and humid air, while the sump pump actively manages groundwater intrusion. The result is a drier, healthier crawl space that helps protect the home’s structure, indoor air quality, and long-term value.
With moisture coming in through ventilation, the walls, and the ground the air inside this crawl space was increasingly humid. By installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier and a Sanidry Sedona air system, we greatly increased this crawl space’s protection from moist air.
SilverGlo Thermal Insulation was fastened to the crawl space walls to regulate temperatures and ensure no outside elements pass through into the crawl space.
This formerly wet and humid crawl space got a brand new look with our CleanSpace encapsulation system. Complete with drainage matting, sealed vents, buried downspouts, and (of course) our ultra-durable CleanSpace vapor barrier- moisture and humidity no longer stand a chance against this crawl space!
Our team replaced a customer's moisture-damaged wooden crawl space door with our EverLast crawl space door. The EverLast door is made from durable, waterproof materials that resist mold and rot, ensuring long-lasting protection. It also features a secure seal to prevent pests and outside air from entering the crawl space, improving overall energy efficiency and indoor air quality.
