These photos show a foundation repair project completed in Cary, NC, where the home was showing signs of settlement along the brick exterior. Symptoms included visible cracks in the mortar joints and separation around the window frames, indicating movement in the foundation. To address this issue, our team installed a series of helical piers beneath the affected section of the home. By driving these steel piers deep into stable soil, we were able to permanently stabilize the structure, protect against further settlement, and restore peace of mind for the homeowner.
After a previous inspection revealed crawl space concerns including foundation wall cracks, moisture issues, and damaged subflooring, this Cary, NC rental property was ready for improvements while vacant. To help protect the home from ground moisture and create a healthier crawl space environment, our team installed a durable vapor barrier across the crawl space floor. This moisture control solution helps reduce humidity, protect structural components from further deterioration, and create a cleaner, drier space beneath the home. The vapor barrier is an important step toward preserving the property's value and supporting long-term crawl space health.
Our foundation pier system will stabilize this customers tilting brick chimney by transferring its weight to stable soil layers beneath the foundation. Steel piers are driven deep into the ground until they reach load-bearing strata. The chimney's weight is then transferred to these piers, preventing further settlement and providing long-term stability.
